It’s the time of the season for gift giving, which means countless Bayou State residents are likely tearing their hair out trying to finish off their lists and finding that perfect present for the people they love the most. Regardless of who that special person may be, countless shoppers (both online and retail) in Louisiana will spend the next few weeks searching high and low for that special somebody on their gift giving list.
LouisianaBets.com, typically home to legal Louisiana sports betting news, used Google Trends to conduct this study. It seems the toughest person to buy gifts for across the state of Louisiana is the woman that brought us into the world, with “mother” being the top query subject in the Bayou State. Overall, search volume for gifts for moms topped queries for “couple,” “father,” “boyfriend” and “wife” — illustrating once and for all how difficult it is for many of us to brainstorm the perfect present for our respective mothers each Christmas.
As we speed our way towards the Big Day on Dec. 25, you can guess from the state’s search volume Louisiana residents are spending much of the time between now and then digging up the perfect gift for the person that means the most to them — whether that be said person’s mother, father, or romantic partner.
